The Star Princess summer was great! I enjoyed meeting all of you from so many different places; I trust that your Alaska experience was all you hoped it would be! I LOVE Alaska. My goal each summer is to transfer my passion to you; hopefully, I succeeded. I believe this was the BEST summer of the past ten years that I've worked in Alaska. Beginning in May through mid-Sept., I spoke for 16 back-to-back cruises. Every single part of the summer went together well! Captain Craig Street was terrific; Cruise Director Lee Childers was a delight; passengers from all over the world were receptive and appreciative; the entire crew--especially the tech. crew--were cooperative; and my 14 different traveling companions were wonderful. Thank you all for the part you played. There were several highlights during the summer. Were you there??? ...the week that the humpback whale jumped out of the water over 16 times as we sailed away from Skagway? ...whenwe cheered the Golden Princess as we passed in Tracy Arm? ...the four or five BEAUTIFUL, sunshine filled weeks. (A REAL rarity in Southeast Alaska)! ...the week that the ice in Tracy Arm was literally covered with newborn seals?
What are your memories? Email me; I'd love to hear them. Email: vesselmin@yahoo.com
